Very delicious Javanese food. We ordered Combination Meals Choice B: Fried Oyster + Mixed Tempura. We also got Super Deluxe Sushi. The Combo BB is definitely a great value. We went there twice. Update: new visit, ordered Choice B: Mixed Tempura, + Sushi, Unagi + Tonkatsu, Unagidon, and Caterpillar Roll. They are all super delicious! Highly Recommend: Mixed Tempura, Unagi, and Unagidon.
I was on a day trip with my aunty and her friend and ended up stopping at this restaurant at the Waikele Shopping Center and decided to have our lunch here. My aunty ordered the butterfish misoyaki Teis and her friend ordered Unagidon and I had ordered Pork Katsudon. The place was packed, really busy, with many local return customers so it gave a good impression. Once the food arrived and having tried I had to decide that this place deserved a 5 star. This place was clean and the service was great and the food was perfect. I will return when I am around this area again.
Chicken katsu was undercooked sauce was good though by the way. It was busy and maybe next time I'll let them know to make sure cook the chicken well thank you
I can’t say enough how delighted we were to find this hidden gem of a restaurant. Wonderful service and staff. Had teriyaki beef, shrimp tempura, rice and vegetables. It was amazing and I can’t wait to go back. Genuinely authentic Japanese cuisine.
This place is so good that if you do not arrive early, you will have to wait a while to be seated. The restaurant is quaint and the atmosphere is serene. Food portions are just right. The prices are a little high, but you won't be disappointed with the food. The employees are nice and respectful. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable.

Oishikatta!!! The best Japanese food on the Westside! Delicious tempura and fish is fresh. Portions are ample for the cost. Restaurant can be very busy, with a wait to be seated. But servers are pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Usually always a line, we went about 2pm and had a late lunch early dinner, what a game changer. The best time to go NO line! We had a dynamite roll, shrimp tempura, beef, and sashimi teishoku. Steak and lobster. The food was hot and delicious. Would go again at 2pm!

Price increase recently. Combo meals increased by $3. Hostess said their last increase was three years ago. Always a fave restaurant of mine. Food is consistent, tasty, and hearty. I don’t like the price increase but I can appreciate their efforts to not raise prices every year unlike the BBQ restaurant a few doors down.
